Maddy's TCC E-Portfolio

Horizontal Divider 26

My name is Maddy Lundsford, currently I work at Rosemont Elementary School, in the kitchen. This is not the greatest job in the world, but it has it's benefits. My two youngest sons attend school there! Therefore, I get to see them as well as be there if I am needed for any reason.
As for my family, I have 4 children ages 16, 14, 10 and 7.  I was born and raised in NY untill I was 19, then my family and I moved here. I truly miss NY, and hope to return for good one day. Things are very different here, and believe it or not, I am still not used to VA.
I have been out of school for many years, I am 35, so when I decided to go back I have to work on recieving my GED. After recieving it, I enrolled at TCC with a major already in mind. My whole life I always found criminal shows so fascinating, so Criminology is it for me.
Although, many people informed me that attending college was not that difficult, I had my doubts. However, after school started, I found myself at ease. I was talking to people, learning new things, and having fun.
My first semester here at TCC I enrolled in only 2 classes; however, this semester I enrolled in 5! Two of these classes were online classes (history and english). This was a big difference compared to last semester, but I want to move along quiclky.
Once I complete my classes here at TCC, I plan on transferring to ODU. There I will recieve my Masters in Crimonology. This will be the biggest accomplishment of my life.
